This summer, in a celebration of local creativity, Six Streets hosts its first Arts Trail on Saturday June 23 and Sunday June 24 2012.
Throughout the weekend, artists and makers will exhibit work in their own homes and those of friends and neighbours. Exhibitors include painters, printers, textile artists, ceramicists, photographers, film-makers, and jewellery-makers.
The trail will also includes a beautiful garden café, ‘pop-up’ cafes, a history trail, children’s activities and live music.
Venues will open from 10.00am to 4.00pm on both days and trail guides will be on sale for £3.00. Entry is free for children.
The Six Streets area is just off Kedleston Road and includes White Street, Statham Street, Wheeldon Avenue, Bromley Street, Park Grove and Parkfields Drive, Derby. The event is sponsored by Boxall, Brown u0026amp; Jones and supported by the University of Derby and Darley Neighbourhood Board.
